Penedex is an application designed to streamline the management of your pen and ink collections effortlessly. It offers a straightforward method to monitor the pens currently in use and those awaiting cleaning. Compatible with iOS and iPad OS, Penedex enables users to efficiently oversee their inked pens, identify pens needing maintenance, and track previously used pen and ink combinations. This tool simplifies the organization and cataloging of your pen and ink collections.

• Create entries for pens, inks, and EDC items.
• Monitor pen and ink pairings in the EDC tab.
• Catalog essential information about your pens such as material, nib size, photos, and purchase date.
• Define unique characteristics of your ink like dry time, sheen, saturation, and flow metrics.
• Penedex automatically tracks the usage frequency of specific pens or inks.
• Easily mark an active pen and ink combination as "needs cleaning" or "cleaned" with a long press on the corresponding EDC entry.
• Retain a record of past inked pens in the History section of the Stats tab along with basic library metrics.
• Maintain a wishlist of your most coveted pens and inks.

The free version of Penedex allows unlimited pen and EDC entries but restricts ink entries to 10. Unlock unlimited ink entries and additional features with a Pro subscription via the Settings page.

Inked

The Inked tab facilitates easy documentation of pen and ink combinations organized by date. When it's time to flag a pen for cleaning, a long-press on the item suffices. A filter button allows quick sorting of your Ink’d list with a single tap.

Library

The pen and ink libraries permit swift addition, editing, and review of key details about your collections for efficient retrieval. Details such as nib size, material, purchase date for pens, and drying time, sheen level, saturation, shading for inks can be stored. The color picker feature allows saving precise colors of your inks from images or screenshots.

Wishlist

Create a dynamic list of pens and inks you wish to explore. Assign star ratings and specific dates to easily track your desired items.

Pen Shows

Discover an international list of pen shows with yearly details. Keep track of specific show tasks and budgets alongside a historical list of attended shows displayed on the Stats tab.

Stats & History

The Stats section provides basic metrics about your collection along with a historical rundown of past pen and ink combinations cataloged.
